People talk about bringing Rekik back, yet he's half the pace & has half the jump on him compared to Boyata. If we're supposed to presevere with young defenders, then it doesn't do any harm to try it with him.

I still think he has something to offer when played alongside an experienced centre half. Him and Demi in the domestic cups should see us just nicely with hopefully a new a grade centre half to form the first team with Vinny. Only issue with that of course is that there will be times we would end up with Boyata and nastasic as our only options with a run of injuries, and that doesn't bear thinking about

If Dedryck's put in as fourth centre back to the CL squad I can't see Nasty making it. Same goes for Garcia if fernando comes. We can only play 17 non home grown assuming a favourable agreement was reached with UEFA. Nasty Garcia and the Beast look vulnerable if they stay so maybe they'll be sold or loaned. Surprised we wouldn't go for a home grown number 2 keeper to be honest.

I didn't think Clatteburg had to send him off in that game. Only about 3 minutes in and questionable if the striker had the ball under control anyhow. In fact, I can rarely recall a time when I was angrier about a ref's decision.
