I noticed that during the game too. He gives us control in the middle of the field which becomes more conspicuous in his absence

According to Sky we have not won away from home without Yaya for two years. Not sure how many games he has missed, so can't judge that properly but we need him back asap.

That was the fourth away game he's missed, we drew three and lost one.
I do agree though that we miss Yaya's composure and his ability to pick attacking players out in good positions.

Im sure we won at Roma without him a few weeks ago.

What I will say though is that we need to sort the midfield out as we just don't seem to cope without Yaya. The problem there is that we are so used to looking for Yaya that when he's not there, and we see the likes of Fernando, it changes the play.
Hopefully Peller's will sort it out and they get it together now they've played a few without him.
All-in-all, a point at Goodison is not too bad although I'd say we should've gone on to win it.

clearly both were not happy about that.

Jovetic brings very little to the table , much happier seeing Sergio back on the pitch .
