No one worth listening to isn't.
Far too simplistic a view.
Regardless what actually happened, the reporting of the incident will lead to all chelsea fans, and to an extent all football fans being tainted by the incident by association.
If you don't believe this to be the case, how do you explain how very few fans of other clubs actually understand the negative of FFP even now that the realisation is dawning that it's a scam? It's simply because they have been fed a particularly simplistic perspective by the media.
It certainly doesn't mean that they aren't worth listening to, it means that they have had their views tainted by an unbalanced argument.
Not really sure what you're banging on about.
Fact is anyone who thinks all fans of a club are racist because of a few is the one with a ' simplistic ' viewpoint.
Yes, they are, but it doesn't mean their viewpoint is unimportant, as it becomes a big problem down the line if unchecked. Perfect example being the commonly held view that 'muslims are terrorists'.
The problem with that viewpoint is that you are very probably talking about the majority of the country who to some degree share a particular media driven view of the world around them. They are on the one hand gullible for taking it all in at face value, but if the majority believe a particular narrative - eg, chelsea fans are racist, all muslims are terrorists, or FFP is fucking fantastic then regardless of the truth, that view passes into common acceptance - it becomes part of culture, and the way people are conditioned to think.
These people, in particular have views that matter, because in the eyes of the majority, their view is what actually happened - it's down to the enlightened to "listen to them" and explain the errors in their view.
Dismissing the opinion of these people as you are suggesting as 'not worth listening to' doesn't make the problem go away.
