Goals conceded.

I think I may be correct in saying that bar Leicester and Newcastle most have scored against us. We have to play Villa and the Saints before the end but not overly confident of any clean sheets. That's a pretty shocking stat and one that clearly proves constant changing of your back line does not work. A settled back line is a must for next season and also a midfielder that can defend.

May be a blessing that Kompany is injured and Mangala gets a bit of run in the side. I would sit Vinny out for the season and give him a long overdue rest, would probably send Zabba with him.

All excellent points and was thinking the same regarding Kompany's injury allowing us to play with a regular centre-half pairing in Mangala and Demichelis. I think if this season has shown us anything we need to have as settled a back four as possible (barring injuries and suspensions).

We have been defending like keystone cops for months but it doesnt help when the midfield in front of you is sliced apart all the pissing time and offers no protection whatsoever.

United looked like they would score every time they come forward. Hart didn't cover himself in any glory either. What the fuck is wrong with these clowns. Just wish they would do what there paid to do.

He has played none stop football for 18 months along with several others. It's caught up with them and this team. Problem is the Argies has another tournament this summer so again no rest for Zabba, Kun and Martin.

Copa America is all I've got to look forward to. I hate the football.

Apart from the challenge when he picked up his injury, Kompany wasn't shit today. He was very close to his best. But he got injured yet again anyway. Both he & Aguero are hardly ever fit. They are carrying something all the time & both are key players. We can't trust them.

Mangala was shite so it would be good for him to get games. Zaba was shite. Demichelis was so so. Clichy wasn't that bad apart from the mistake for Felaini's offside goal. As fullbacks go, Clichy isn't that bad. There are few real quality ones. He is ok to keep as 2nd choice.

If Zaba comes back knackered next season he has to go. He was a waste of fucking time today & gets away with it because we all like him so much. There are few worse fullbacks in the league currently & he has cost us all season.

Defensively, Jason Denayer would piss on that rb spot now even though he's a cb. I don't know how he would be for energy getting up & down the line, but if he'd been playing, the first goal & possibly the 2nd & 3rd wouldn't have happened. As a defender, he would be miles better.

Not even close to being good enough. This inflated view of our young players is pathetic.

We'll see next season. Ten games as a run and he'll be good enough. I'd put good money on it. Has not looked out of place for Celtic or indeed Belgium the other week. A good pre season with the rest of the first team is all he needs. Scores a few goals as well, which will be a nice bonus

I'm surprised you've found time to come on this website.

CARL....you are correct.

As for the critisism of Mangala. Well in my opinion , he did well. He moved to play the rags onside for a goal but .BUT. He was in the left back position , approx. Now, as far as holding the offside line, since the ball is coming from the left.He is the one that should be calling the movement, not zabs , mdm or anyone else .So, what happened ?Demich should know better. Our defense is a shambles, we all know this. Kompany is finished. He was an average midfielder that moved to the back four . He has got away with being in a great attacking team.

We are paying the price for getting rid of Roberto (and the Chairman must now recognise that the Spafia , in this modern world of transparency, nevermind Holism, must accept that they are not good enough) .
