Boyata started off looking a little nervous but he made an excellant tackle in our box and grew in confidence from there and ended up having a very good game. Looks very very promising.

However I dont know who they were watchin cos he had a decent game from what I saw and should definately get another chance.
He did quite well for me.

He played very well and give credit to the gaffer for giving him the ideal opposition to make his debut.
.
It was ridiculous. He even did a beautiful step-round a forward with the ball and the idiot said 'Boyata looking shaky again'.
Mind you they were also determined 'City could be in trouble', like they are with any Premier teams who haven't scored in the first 15 minutes. Thought the first half commentary was some of the worst I'd heard. Was it ESPN feed?
Boyata was bloddy good for me, for a first run-out. Even though he had no opposition of course.
Douglas Higginbottom wrote:Watching him in reserves and training and now first team he comes across as a shy unassuming lad and now having seen his interview on the OS it just confirms it. Great interview.
I don't really think he is ready for the semi next week especially as it will be Shrek and bflop. Not that he would let us down but it's the lack of experience and physical strength that might just get found out.

No mate, its Lou Macari on Setanta. That's four fucking matches I've had to listen to a rag that works for MUTV slating us for 90 mins a piece. Its a fucking joke and I hope Setanta go under for having the audactiy to sanction such a farce.
Boyata did reasonably well but it was such a shitty match I can't say anyone was fantastic.

Yes, he looked a little nervous as anyone would (remember your first debut) but he didn't actually put a foot wrong to my recollection. In fact, I'd go as far to say that he bossed the back four, making Micah and then Vinnie, feel at home.

APART FROM THAT HE WAS FINE - WOULDNT LIKE TO HAVE HIM AGAINST THE SCUM THOUGH..IT,S ANOTHER LEVEL AND HE,S NOT UP TO IT JUST YET........METHINKS !
