When asked how long the player is likely to be out of action for, Pellegrini said: "I think at least one month, one month and a half."

So far Fern 2 seems to have had a constant niggle since he joined us. I think we should look at bringing in a centre mid in January. The Count may be thinking of playing Nasri in there. I do like Nasri in a central role but only as 1 of 3, not the usual 1 of 2.

Much prefer him as a number 10. If we're looking for possible central midfielders to fill in, maybe Otamendi?

Possibly, as a short term fix but I think we need someone for the future. We did make enquiries about Pogba who would play centrally so hopefully we will find an alternative in January.

I think so too. Even if Delph and Fernando weren't risky as far as fitness is concerned, Yaya and F1 are the wrong side of 30 now and we need to start getting the next generation ready. Although as I'm typing that, Toure will still be the mountain at 35 and F1 has the engine of a Lambo.
