At times he already looks like he has thrown the towel in so he can't get much worse. That's a bit hars I know and I have some time for Bony but I am looking at the current situation only and we need 3 points and imo Bony up front isn't the best way to get them.
Having said that if we defend well the the top 4 players get it right we will win anyway.
Doug, I respect your views on football a lot and usually agree with you, but I think you are way too harsh on Bony. He might not be great for our possession game when we're playing teams that Park the bus (too immobile), but he's a fantastic target player and links up very well with the other forwards if he gets the ball with the goal against his back. He definitely brings us something we've been missing. It's just too bad he has to be used as a replacement of Aguero instead of a compliment to him, because of Kun's injuries.
Bony is,and never will be good enough for us as a LOAN STRIKER, hes a slug of a player.
When Nacho came on he was fast as fuck, got right in the meat for that cross and it was a GOAL....that's what we get from Nacho.
Bony has been nowhere near where he should be when the crosses come in.,,,,if it's not a set piece then hes in no mans land.
Sorry , I think the 5 in 8 games clouds over so many negative angles on his overall game as a forward and there's too many fans who just don't see it or won't see it.
