I suppose I'm the only one who's not buzzing my tits off at this news, then. I'd have stuck with Pellegrini, and I don't think that appointing Pep guarantees success in any way, shape or form. He probably will do well, but we're doing well anyway. At the very least, I wish this could've been kept under wraps until May.
Just my personal feelings on the matter. I'm no Pep-worshipper.

I like Pellegrini and I think his last two seasons have been undermined by Yaya's antics and the incessant speculation about Pep. But it is what it is, the shirt goes first.

I feel the same. I'm fickle though, how about you?

Quite the opposite, I'd say, without meaning to blow my own trumpet. I've got behind every manager we've ever had - including Hughes and, for a time at least, Frank Clarke [shudder]. I will support Pep as well; I just wish this had been handled a bit differently (or not at all).

Not a bad shout. A lot of our squad are reaching their use-by date. This season is the Swansong for a few.
I dont think it's anything he wasn't made aware of when he came. He's had a good time, well paid, done a job
