We have had decisons go our way in the past as well, one that immediately springs to mind is Balotelli stamping on Parkers head and then scoring the winning penalty (i think). Two wrongs dont make a right of course but i think all this corruption stuff is a bit daft personally.

Corruption shouldnt effect some of our truly woeful performances this season. In alot of games we only have ourselves to blame. I agree some decisons have been utterly dreadful though.

and the authorities would welcome LOSING control (to avoid being accused of corruption) - so that is not the reason

Well, I had a discussion with Tokyo a few weeks back and I asked him when the last time we had possibly gained points as a direct result of bad officiating. He reckoned it was almost 4 years ago v Sunderland when Adam Johnson was given a soft penalty.

That discussion was before the ball went out against Everton. But even if that is to be counted as something similar then you have two decisions in over 4 years. Two.

We have had one to two match influencing decisions against us in pretty much EVERY SINGLE GAME over the last two seasons alone.

It's gone way way way beyond a joke. Money is ruining football. That much is true. But it's the money lining the pockets of those running it that's the problem.

They want the closest league in the world and they have it now. Well done.

Palace had a perfectly good goal chalked off for offside at the Etihad last season but the decisions that go against far outweigh those that gain us an advantage. I don't think it's corruption however refs are human and it wouldn't surprise me if some hold grudges against certain teams for some reason.
