No chance of a penalty whatsoever, then.

We need to put out the same team as last night for this. But we won't.

Why don't you think it'll be the same team? There's not a lot we could do differently based on who's available

i agree...barring any injury issues i think he puts out the exact same fucking XI i would hope. We will destroy them if we play like we did last night i feel.

Come on Count...don't overthink this shit...just lay down in your casket and let the lads play some football please.

cheers

Sure is and I think the Dippers will be shitting it more than we should. I don't think they've won a game with him lately and they were knocked out of the semi-final last year.

Candles are already lit.

Last night's formation is what we've been asking for, for ages. Having both Fern's on the field, or the likes of Delph, allows Yaya to either drop and rotate , or push forward asnd they cover, at least one of them anyway.

With the Dippers having to field a strong team tonight, I'd be more than happy to put out the same team as last night. Saying that, we may not even have the choice.

To be fair Beefy, he's tried that formation a few times this season but with Delph doing on the left what Dinho did on the right last night, it hasn't worked previously but worked a treat last night.

The difference was that Delph stayed out on the left and usually to counter a specific threat whereas Fern not only went down the right, he was covering in the middle as well as getting in the box.

I suspect that was the intention with Delph too, he just didn't perform as well.

I disagree beefy. Delph has had the exact same role but on the left primarily. Did a good job too but fern does it better.

"In my career so far it's the most important goal. You score the goal in the last minute to win the title. You're not sure if that's ever going to happen in your career again. I wish I could tell you how I did it but I can't. I thought for all the world that Mario was going to have a go himself but he just moved it on one more and it fell at my feet and I just thought: 'Hit the target, hit it as hard as you can and hit the target.' And it went in."

So not exactly the same but very similar.

Correct. Fern is playing for the team whereas Delph is trying to get his feet under the table and play his way in. Fern understands the need to cover if Yaya goes forward but cannot do the lot without that extra mid in the form of Fernando, as yesterday.

I think putting out his Willy is the wrong move here.

His Willy was so badly beaten by Chelsea the other day I think it would be difficult for his Willy to harden up and tough it out.
