And whatever reasons he gives are down to people who hear the excuses whether they believe him or not.
However to blame his state of mind due to the traumatic experience he has endured as the reason for the shirt is way of the mark.
I'm sure he knew what he was doing.
Why?
Not sure many people know.

I care about what happened to Ade... AND I'm bemused that he ended up wearing an Arsenal Football Club jersey on global TV.
You can be both you know. Those of us who think it was a fuckup aren't evil and heartless. It WAS a fuckup, and if you're not allowed point that out because a tragedy happened previously, then you're masking your point of view.
Its not nearly as important as people dying and to my knowledge, nobody in this thread said it was.
So for all the people who keep posting with the "Earth Song" playing in the background, calling for perspective - please consider for one second that some of us a pointing out a fuck up. No more.
I'm still delighted he's alive, I'm still delighted we are the richest club in the world, in fourth place, within touching distance of our rivals (Arsenal included) and that the future is rosey.
This was a minor fuck up in the grander scheme of things, as was Elano bitching to the press, as was Garry Cook on a couple of occassions, but it was a fuck up all the same.
Spot on old dubbers. Reward yourself with a cider.

We've got a team of mercenaries who are here for the money and thus far doing their job very well like merc's should. No one will give a toss about this if he score the winner in hte carling cup or at home to the Scum. Its a t-shirt and hes probably an Arsenal fan at heart, big wow. Bellamy has admitted 10000000000 times he's a Liverpool supporter and SWP has said the same about Arsenal. Sell them all.

We need to keep this in perspective.
