I stand convicted with everyone else of blue hopefulness but it is quite possible they will end up with two cups and a place in the CL, not counting the Community Shield, whereas we could end up with nada.Saul Goodman wrote:120 minutes + a Zlatan injury and a match 3 days later and then the derby 4 days later. 3 matches in 7 days.
Perfect set up for us

harsh on dortmund. and monaco. and us.
But you cant even compare our poor defense--or Dortmund's--to the likes of Juve, Bayern, and Atletico or even Barca and Real. The way Monaco easily tore our defense and Dortmund's apart was embarrassing. Granted, it could instead be a testament to their offensive masterclass. Thats why I want to see them prove it against a good defense, and there's none better than Juve's BBC right now
I notice you left out the Foxes....
The paradigm has shifted Saul, time to catch up with the Pep revolution - defence is actually the first stage of attack - I think our leader has borrowed this concept from Clausewitz or possibly Pulis.
Perhaps even earlier than Clausewitz JC (I'm thinking of Hannibal at Cannae in 216 BC) ??

Hubris does not look good in blue, we must take whatever comes on the chin in the time honoured fashion.

I know it's hard to work out, but it's a cup competition that we're both involved in at the semi-final stage.
We play one team and they play another so there's a theoretical possibility that both of us could win and meet in the final next month.
Is that enough of a clue?

It's not always easy being corrupt.phips wrote:zuricity wrote:nice the way uefa drew madrid vs madrid guaranteeing a spanish team in the final.
yet if Real had drawn Monaco some would've complained about big, bad Real getting the "easiest" draw

Now that really is totally uncalled for. BJ is neither daft nor snarky - lighten up my friend.
