I spotted that. Both him and his lineman said they didn’t know what was going on. Linesman said “he may have been offside I can’t be sure” and Moss said “he can’t have been offside it came off Lovren” it didn’t but that wouldn’t have made a difference.

why do you say it wouldnt have made a difference? if the defender plays the ball to Kane (intentionally or not) he cant be offside.
I'm not really a City fan. I'm just here for attention.

Hard to tell if Lovren touched it (I reckon he did but not as he intended) but if he did he played Kane onside. 2 good penalty decisions IMO and against the binmen at Klanfield.

Because Kane was already a yard offside when the. ball was played. The defender didn’t “play the ball to Kane”. If Lovren did touch it it would have nicked him as the ball was played through from the Spurs player.
So if Lovren has stopped the ball. Put his foot on it and picked out Kane, yes you’re correct - he wouldn’t have been offside. That’s not what happened though.

Not true. Kane was offside when the initial ball was played so it’s in the same phase. He was offside whether Lovren touched it or not.

True Mase.
Kane was active. Lovren wouldn’t need to attempt to play the ball if he wasn’t there. He could let it run to the keeper.
The rules of the game are so skewed they can justify nearly anything they want.
As for the second penalty. Well I reckon the linesman had a bet on somewhere.

He's kicked him in the calf
https://www.google.ie/amp/s/streamable. ... ayer/og70pIt didn't warrant the reaction from Lamela but its still a foul. Perhaps what refs need to do in these situations is give the penalty for the foul but also give the yellow card for the twattish reaction.

He pulls away when he feels his toe hitting his calf.

maybe not... just the angle
clearly kicks his calf when you look at it from behind - definitely doesn't pull out

There was a similar incident in our game. Ball over the top and the Burnley boy was offside so Kompany made sure and headed the ball out for a corner. In my opinion it should have been offside as if the flag goes up then Kompany doesn't need to play the ball.
