Today was always going to be tough after what happend on Wednesday. It will take awhile to get that out of the systems of both players and fans alike hence the flat feel to the game and the atmopshere, but it will go a little way to get minds reconcentrated on the fight for 4th and the FA cup. We still have so much to play for!!

I have to say that I'm little bit baffled about all the moaning and whining on official match thread. Personally I felt we showed extreme professionalism in getting past a shit side after all the emotions of wednesday. Seems to me that we are slowly getting rid of 'typical City'.
I'm not on a wind up here by the way. Just little bit amazed about the reactions.

Absolutely delighted...we played poor on what can only be described as a hangover from Wednesday night and we still won
3 points in the bag...that's all we need to know

That may be all we need to know, but the likes of Hull, Bolton and Stoke will be taking a lot of positives from todays game.

I absolutely disagee Beefy
I think that it will have the opposite effect...we play badly and still cruise to a win...like has already been mentioned...every team has bad games...it's what you do to convert those bad games into wins that seperates the top four from the pack

Spent to LEVEL the playing field...the big guns have been spending heavily for years...it's only more noticable with us because it's been done in a couple of seasons...we are just playing catch up...pretty successfully so far this season from what I can see in the table...the amount spent argument holds absolutely no water with me
