He really is a constant moaner, isn't he? Saw him a few times, talks and talks and talks.

Dick Van Dyke is not coming out of this well is he . Second goal he should have blocked . Too busy bitchin' and moanin' at the ref.

Why the dick jokes? His name is literally pronounced "fan dyke".

I'll put it down to spell check, it was either Van Dicks or Van Fucks, I just chose the easier option.

I remember us playing Middlesbrough a couple of years ago and de Roon having a fucking stormer, killing every attack we had and thinking that he could become the enforcer the Dutch team needed after Nigel and van Bommel. He then moved to Italy and I forgot about him, but he's now really doing exactly the job for the Dutch national team that I thought he could.(you got plenty of technically gifted players in Holland – the mean defensive midfielders are rarer)

Sorry, I'm being unclear: how would you pronounce "van dijk" in English if you didn't know the Dutch pronounciation? Once you know how to pronounce a word/name in a language, it's difficult to picture any other way (especially in your second or third language).

So dyke? I speak both Dutch and German plus obviously English, but neither is my native tongue. That's why I'm struggling to imagine how a British person would pronounce it.

I'm enjoying this, much more than the shit Wales and Scotland matches. Couldn't bring myself to watch Northern Ireland knowing there was a chance to see a couple of City players playing.

I didn't jump in joy but quite enjoyed Gundogan's involvement in that winning goal. Complete Lu turned the game in their favour when he came on.

I wonder if they get any racist abuse after this win?

Confirms it, Taggart definitely back at the helm.

He never left.

The great thing is he'll hold back United in his declining years.
